My 5 year old son loves this suit! We just got back from a week long trip and brought 4 suits, he wanted to wear this one every day. Said it was the most comfortable! We ordered it in the 5-6 years and it fits well with room to grow. The lining is more like shorts which he prefers. However, sand definitely gets stuck in there! It does not come out easily like his other suits so we ended up getting him in the shower to take this suit off!
But overall, he loves this and it is a great fit with room to grow, plus it looks super cute!
I thought I would give these swim trunks a try, even though there was not a realistic size chart to go from. I get the younger kid sizes can go by age to some extent, but I needed these for the 14-16 years age. I mean, have you seen group of 14-16 year-old boys? They can be just about any size, from small boy to giant grown man. I have an average/short size 14 year old, so I thought it would be a good fit. They are definitely small and slim fit for a teen. He doesn't hate them, but they are definitely tight.
The under layer lining is stretchy and comfortable. The top layer not as stretchy, but the color is nice and looks pretty good.
My son loves the design and pink color. He can't wait to wear them around his baseball friends over the summer. I like that they are well constructed and have a comfortable mesh lining. I also really like the drawstring as my skinny kiddo has a hard time finding swim shorts that fit. The baseball design is fun and I will likely order more pairs in different prints. I do think they are a little expensive but am hoping they will up for a season of swimming. I will order again.
These swim trunks are great! I love the contrasting colors of pink and black (and pink is my son's favorite color, so it's perfect!) The compression shorts are nice and soft and so much better than the usual mesh found in swim trunks. They run true to size/slightly generous.
